Praying for Ignatian vocations

Today, Good Shepherd Sunday, is also Vocations Sunday, when we pray in particular for vocations to the priesthood and religious life. It's a good day to pray that many more women and men will respond with generosity and courage to God's call, to follow Jesus and serve God's people in the congregations which form our Ignatian family.

We pray, too, for those who, in the past few months, have taken significant steps in their formation journeys.

For Leona and Sharon, who have just started their formation with the Congregation of Jesus and the Society of the Sacred Heart respectively

For Els, who recently made her first vows as a Faithful Companion of Jesus

For the Jesuits preparing to be ordained to the priesthood this summer

Women open to a possible call to religious life can find discernment opportunities with the FCJs, the Cenacle Sisters and the Society of the Sacred Heart on UK religious life. There are also details of a silent retreat with workshops on discernment facilitated by the Loreto sisters.

You can also find details of websites and social media presence for all the congregations in the Ignatian family in the UK on this site.
