Congratulations, prayer and best wishes go to two British Jesuits who have just taken major steps in their formation, and in their following of Jesus.
First, on 25th November, Philip Harrison SJ was ordained to the diaconate in Bogota, Colombia, where he has been studying theology. He will soon return to England, where he will be part of the Hurtado Jesuit community in Wapping, while preparing for ordination to the priesthood next June.
Then, on 1st December, at Farm Street church in London, Nick Austin SJ made his final vows as a Jesuit. He shares some reflections on this, and explains something of the vows he is making in the Jesuit website blog, and you can also see him talking about his vocation story here.
Congratulations to both men; wishing them, and all those in religious formation within the Ignatian family much joy and fulfillment in their lives given in love and service.
