On Saturday 9th January Janet Hopper made her first vows in the Society of the Sacred Heart. Originally from Tamworth, Janet met the Society via their community in Newcastle while she was working as a youth worker in Hexham & Newcastle Diocese. During the Mass she shared something of her journey, her belief in a God who lives among us and the impact of the Spiritual Exercises she made as part of her noviciate.The Ignatian family assures Janet and all her sisters of our prayers and good wishes as she begins her new life as an RSCJ.
