Jesuits from four provinces in North West Europe – Ireland, Flanders, the Netherlands and Britain – took time off from their current ministries this summer to participate in alternative works – known in Jesuit jargon as ‘experiments’. They used this experience as the basis for reflection on apostolic priorities for the Society of Jesus over the coming decades.
