At tea after the Mass |
Congratulations and prayers to Siobhan Burke, who on Saturday 11th April made her first vows in the Society of the Sacred Heart (RSCJ). Siobhan met the Society while she was at Oxford University, where she belonged to the chaplaincy-based Christian Life Community (CLC). She entered in October 2011 after spending a year in a Jesuit Volunteer Community. She is the first sister to make vows in her province in this Year of Consecrated Life, and will now move to Newcastle, to be part of the community and mission there.
You can read a short account of the ceremony
here, and a reflection by Silvana Dallanegra RSCJ on her blog
here.
