Welcome to Wapping

On Monday 29th September the Hurtado Jesuit Centre in Wapping opened its doors for an interactive community event to mark the publication of Welcome to Wapping, its report on community and social justice in Tower Hamlets. This is the culmination of six months listening to the local community in a series of structured interviews and creative consultation events.

The aim of the listening project was to discern where the Hurtado Centre might fit into the efforts of its neighbours to restore value to community.
