First vows of Matthew and Paolo

On Saturday 7th September two Jesuit novices, Paolo Beltrame and Matthew Tumulty made their first vows in Birmingham, in a Mass attended by Jesuits, friends and family who had travelled there from Ireland and Italy. You can read a full account of the ceremony here...

September is the time when many people enter religious life, transition to the noviciate and make vows. We pray for all those in the Ignatian family who are beginning new stages in their journeys with God, and for all who are discerning or beginning to respond to God's call to religious life.

NB: speaking of discerning... the Society of the Sacred Heart are hosting a vocation discernment weekend next month.
