Alive with love

Yesterday we celebrated the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which has a special place in the Ignatian tradition thanks to St Claude La Colombiere. This article by James Hanvey SJ explains something of this Heart, which is fully alive and ever-loving.

Today our focus is on the Immaculate Heart of Mary, whose Heart was most closely United to her Son's. This feast rarely receives as much attention as yesterday's, but it also speaks of a heart which is alive and filled with love.

We send our greetings and assurances of prayer to the Sisters of the Society of the Sacred Heart, the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart and the Daughters of the Heart of Mary.
