Feast of the Sacred Heart 2015

Happy Feast of the Sacred Heart to all members of the Ignatian family, and especially to the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart (ASC) and the Society of the Sacred Heart (RSCJ). This is a day when we especially celebrate and give thanks for the unlimited love of God, whose source and symbol is in the Heart of Jesus.

Devotion to the Sacred Heart has long been part of Ignatian life and spirituality, especially thanks to St Claude de la Colombiere SJ, confessor to St Margaret Mary Alacoque, who pledged himself to the mission of spreading the devotion based on her visions.
