Praying for Ignatian vocations

“A vocation is a fruit that ripens in a well cultivated field of mutual love that becomes mutual service, in the context of an authentic ecclesial life. No vocation is born of itself or lives for itself. A vocation flows from the heart of God and blossoms in the good soil of faithful people, in the experience of fraternal love.”

Pope Francis SJ

Today, Good Shepherd Sunday, is the day when all the faithful are invited to pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life. We pray especially for all those whom God might be calling to serve him in Ignatian religious life, whether as a priest, sister or brother.

Some of the female Ignatian congregations in the UK are offering the following days or weekends for discerners. If you are considering a call to religious life, maybe one or more of these events could be for you! If not, do spread the word and don't forget to pray for all those who will participate.

You can also find links to websites and social media presence and details of how to contact these and all Ignatian congregations on our Congregations of Religious page (see tab above)
