Tenor with a "generous heart" to sing for JRS

The internationally renowned lyric tenor Benjamin Makisi will be in concert at Heythrop College in Kensington in support of the Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS), performing from his repertoire that includes works by Verdi, Puccini and Schubert, as well as 20th classics by Leonard Bernstein and Rogers and Hammerstein.


The concert on 24th August will also include poetry and readings and a photo exhibition - presented by some of those who have benefited from the activities organised at the JRS-UK Day Centre.  It will start at 7pm and will be preceded by a drinks reception at 6.30pm.  Tickets cost £20 and are available from
